Heavenly Goldens

We have spent quite a bit of time considering the best way we can serve our puppy parents and offer the best and easiest process for homing one of our beautiful puppies.  Please see our process below.

We are always happy to hear feedback and suggestions to help make things run even smoother.  Don't hesitate to reach out by using our "Contact Us" page if you should so desire.

  • Step 1Once you decide you would like to move forward in homing one of our puppies, please fill out the form under the "Potential Buyer Questionnaire" page.  Once you submit this form, we will look over your responses and either ask more questions, offer feedback regarding your answers and/or approve your request to home one of our puppies.  Once we both feel moving forward is a good fit, we move on to the next step.

  • Step 2Once you have been approved as a home for a puppy, you will have the option to place a deposit on a puppy.  You will specify the gender and breeding rights you would like at this time.  Once we recieve your deposit, we will place a puppy of your chosen gender on hold.  You will then receive an email with a request to sign the Deposit Agreement.  (We require a $400 deposit.  Deposits may be placed using PayPal, Zelle, Apple Pay or cash; whichever one you are comfortable with.)

  • Step 3:  We allow those that have placed a deposit to pick their puppy on our 'Puppy Pick Day', which will occur at five (5) weeks of age virtually, or at six (6) weeks of age in person.  Picks are assigned in order of deposits received.  We allow picks at these age ranges for two reasons:  1) Goldens begin to show more of their coloring, appearance and temperments at and beyond five weeks of age.  Therefore, we want you to have the opportunity to meet the puppies and pick them once they begin to look more like they will look when you pick them up. (Please keep in mind that they will continue to change.)  2) We allow in-person picks at six weeks of age, which is after their first set of shots have been administered, in order to keep all of our puppies as safe as possible from communicable diseases.

  • Step 4:  'Puppy Pick-Up Day' occurs at or after our puppies are eight (8) weeks of age.  It is recommended by the American Kennel Club to wait until this age or after before removing puppies from their mom.  This is so that they can learn important behaviors that their mother teaches them.  We will notify all puppy parents of the date(s) and time(s) that are available for pick-up.  At puppy pick-up, you will sign the final contract and we will go over it and answer any questions you may have.  Your final payment will also be due at this time.  We only accept cash upon final pick-up.  Please make a note of that, and be sure to bring that on this day.  In addition, we will sit down and go over your puppy pack, what's included and provide information about your new puppy and caring for them.  Please allow at least 30 minutes on this day.

  • Step 5:  Once you bring your puppy home, that is not the end of our journey together.  We are here for you to help ease the transition.  Always feel welcome to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have.  We love our puppies and want to be here for them and their families!  We are only a message, email or call away.  Please feel free to reach out.  While we may not have all the answers, we are happy to share our own experiences with you and do what we can to point you in the right direction when we are not able to answer.
