We prefer to discuss once your puppy is of breeding age (18-24 months). If you are seeking Full Registration, please let us know. We would love to visit more about this option. This is an important decision and we take it seriously. Our main goal is to ensure healthy breeding practices and to ensure our name is carried on as being a reputable breeding program.

What is the difference between Limited and Full Registration?
-
Limited Registration/Limited Breeding Rights means that the dog is registered but litters produced by that dog are ineligible for registration. In addition, a limited dog cannot compete in conformation shows. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event, including Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility, Rally, and Earthdog. -
Full registration/Full Breeding Rights, For the American Kennel Club, is a registration certificate for owners who breed stock dogs and dogs that are actively participating in dog shows. Full registration is required only by the breeders. Therefore, dog owners who are not actively involved in dog breeding do not need to worry about a full registration certificate. Do you have a waiting list?
-
Yes, you can put your name on our waiting list and we will contact you via email once we have a puppy available. However, this does not guarantee you will receive a puppy. The only way to guarantee you receive a puppy from our next litter is to put down a deposit. We take 8 deposits ($400) in advance. Sometimes we have more puppies available than 8, then we go to the waiting list with no deposits. We contact you in the order we received your request to be put on our waiting list. If you put down a deposit on a puppy in advance, you are guaranteed a puppy, unless we have less than 8 puppies. At which point, you will be refunded your deposit or we can hold it until our next litter, placing you first in line. Deposits are done on a first come-first serve basis. If we do not have the gender in the litter that you picked, you can pick from the puppies we do have available or we will refund you money or we can hold your deposit until the next litter.

Why do we have to fill out a questionnaire?

Can I see my puppy before I get to take him/her home?

When do I get to pick my puppy?
-
Puppy picks will be done in order of deposit receipt. (i.e. The first person that puts down their deposit, will get to pick their puppy first. The second person, the second pick and so on.) We will open our home for you to visit and pick out your puppy on or after their 6-week checkup and shots, in order to keep all puppies protected from any communicable diseases. We will provide an appointment time list for the day of visits. We will allow each person who has placed a deposit to sign up for an appointment time on the day that we designate. On the designated 'pick day', you will be allowed to come visit, hold, play with and choose the puppy you want to take home once the puppies reach 8-weeks old.

What if my puppy won't eat after we get home?
-
Sometimes transitioning to a new home is difficult for a new puppy. They may not feel like eating at first. You should see your vet prior to the recommended 72 hours, if you puppy refuses to eat or drink anything within the first 48 hours. They are most likely just fine; however, we recommend seeing your vet earlier just in case to ensure a healthy transition for your new furbaby.
-
-
Do we have to take our puppy to the vet within 72 hours of pickup?
-
No, it is your choice ;however, if you do not get your puppy checked out by your vet within 72 hours of pickup, then your contract health guarantee will be void
-
-
Why do your require us to have our puppy seen by our vet within 72 hours of pickup?
-
We don't expect you to take our word for it. We ask that you do this for yours, your puppy's and our protection. We want you to ensure your puppy is healthy by having a veterinarian of your choice examine him/her soon after leaving our home.
-
-
What if something is wrong with our puppy when we go to the vet?
-
If anything is found by your vet within 72 hours of pickup that is incurable or untreatable, we will ask you to return the puppy, at which time, we will have the option to get a second opinion from our vet. If the puppy does indeed have a condition that is incurable or untreatable, we will take the puppy back. You may then choose another puppy from the litter, if available. If no puppies are available, we will refund your money. (This does not apply to treatable, communicable diseases, as we cannot control what your dog is exposed to once he/she leaves our care.)
